Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the steering wheel temporarily lost power steering assist. There was a message displayed to take the vehicle to the dealer. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred temporarily on two other occasions. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle in when the warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000. The consumer stated replaced front re-blower relay coil electrical assist steering module.
