Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the rearview camera intermittently failed to operate as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.
