The contact stated while driving 45 MPH and exiting the highway, the Forward Collision Avoidance Automatic Emergency Braking feature engaged inadvertently and the vehicle stopped abruptly, causing the vehicle to fishtail. The contact stated that an unknown red warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that there were no other vehicles nearby at the time of the failure. The next day, the contact notified the dealer of the failure and made an appointment to have a diagnostic test performed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.
