The contact owned a 2011 Hyundai Sonata The contact stated that while driving, the accelerator pedal locked up and the transmission was slipping. Smoke was detected and fire emerging from the engine. The check engine warning indicator light was illuminated. There were no reported injuries. A Police report was filed. The fire department extinguished the fire.
