NHTSA Complaint #11427608 — 2010 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the steering wheel was difficult to turn and brakes would not function. The contact stated that the vehicle was shifted into neutral and restarted and the vehicle to regained functionality. The contact stated that the traction control warning light was illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 11V139000 (Electrical System) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 243,000.
