Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE DROVE OVER A SMALL BUMP IN THE ROADWAY CAUSING THE FRONT DRIVER'S SEAT RECLINING ASSEMBLY TO MALFUNCTION AND CAUSING THE DRIVER TO SINK INTO THE SEAT. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT YET DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER PLANET FORD LOCATED AT 20403 I-45, SPRING, TX 77388 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 16V475000 (SEATS). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.*DT Consumer stated incident happened again.*JB
