Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HYUNDAI VELOSTER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING OIL FROM THE ENGINE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE CONTACT STATED THE OIL LEVEL AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RED MCCOMBS HYUNDAI NORTHWEST (3663 W INTERSTATE 10 FRONTAGE RD, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78249 (210) 944-4582) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THE CONTACT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1,000 MILES BEFORE RECHECKING THE OIL LEVEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 102,168.
