Consumer Description

TRAVELING DOWN A TWO-LANE ROAD ABOUT 50 MPH WHEN THE TRUCK'S ENGINE SUDDENLY LOST ALL POWER AND AN ERROR MESSAGE POPPED UP ON THE SCREEN. HAD TO STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD BLOCKING TRAFFIC DUE TO NO SHOULDER. HAD TO PUT TRUCK IN PARK, TURN OFF MOTOR AND ONLY THEN WAS ABLE TO GET MOTOR RUNNING AGAIN. MANAGED TO GET 1/4 MILE BACK HOME. FOUND OUT FROM MY OBD DIAGNOSTICS THAT THE THROTTLE BODY WAS STUCK. ONLY OPTION WAS TO REPLACE THE THROTTLE BODY TO ENSURE IT DIDN'T OCCUR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD OR WORSE, A MAJOR INTERSECTION. NO PROBLEMS SINCE REPLACEMENT.
