Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE HESITATED BEFORE THE RPM REVVED UP AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JT JEEP DODGE LOCATED AT 4838 SUNSET BLVD, LEXINGTON, SC 29072, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS METAL SHAVINGS FOUND IN THE TRANSMISSION AND THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 220,000. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED.
