TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH, THE VEHICLE SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING, LOST POWER, AND JERKED. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO VEER TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WHERE THE VEHICLE LOST COMPLETE POWER. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LITHIA HYUNDAI OF ODESSA (5000 JOHN BEN SHEPPERD PKWY, ODESSA, TX 79762, (432) 614-0345) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE RESULTS WERE UNKNOWN. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE PARTS TO REPAIR THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 96,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
