TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO WRAY FORD (2851 BENTON RD, BOSSIER CITY, LA 71111, (318) 686-7300) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PCM SOFTWARE CRASHED AND NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED PER THE RECALL DUE TO THE MILEAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: CAS 23983015. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
