TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND SHIFTING OUT OF GEAR. WATSON'S MANISTEE CHRYSLER (208 W PARKDALE RD, MANISTEE, MI 49660, (231) 723-6528) USED A HANDHELD DEVICE TO QUICKLY DIAGNOSE THE TRANSMISSION, BUT FOUND NO FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. ALSO, THE CONTACT HEARD A HIGH PITCHED WHINING NOISE WHILE DRIVING. AFTER THE VEHICLE SHIFTED OUT OF A LOW GEAR, THE ENGINE REVVED, BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT MOVE. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO DRIVE HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,706.
