TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL, THE STEERING COLUMN MADE A STRANGE CLICKING SOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAPPY HYUNDAI (9121 SOUTH CICERO AVE, OAK LAWN, IL 60453, (708) 422-9300) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING GEARBOX SHAFT FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.
