TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 VOLKSWAGEN CC. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL ON ITS OWN AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOZZANI VOLKSWAGEN (LOCATED AT 528 S CITRUS AVE, COVINA, CA 91723, (626) 921-5160) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MECHATRONIC UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,798.
