Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. EARNHARDT HYUNDAI (10401 PAPAGO FWY, AVONDALE, AZ 85323, (623) 388-5800) DIAGNOSED THAT THE INTAKE VALVE AND CRANKSHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED AND ENGINE NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
