TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE POWER STEERING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE BECAME DIFFICULT TO STEER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOB WONDRIES FORD (400 S ATLANTIC BLVD, ALHAMBRA, CA 91801, (626) 380-9079) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
