Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY DOWNSHIFTED INTO FIRST GEAR. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CORWIN FORD (3241 S. GLENSTONE AVE, SPRINGFIELD, MO) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. AFTER THE CONTACT RETRIEVED THE VEHICLE, THE FAILURES CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
