TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD FREESTAR. WHILE DRIVING LOW SPEEDS, THE CONTACT HAD DIFFICULTY SHIFTING FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR. ALSO, THE POWER TRAIN INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,470.
