Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK AND, OCCASIONALLY, WOULD NOT LATCH PROPERLY. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED DURING FREEZING TEMPERATURES. SHULTS FORD OF WEXFORD (10401 PERRY HWY, WEXFORD, PA) DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO WATER ENTERING THE DOOR CABIN, WHICH CAUSED THE LOCKING MECHANISM TO FREEZE. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,500.
