Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS FUELED, IT FAILED TO START AND THE CHECK ENGINE, BATTERY, AND OIL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RAY VARNER FORD (LOCATED AT 2026 N CHARLES G SEIVERS BLVD, CLINTON, TN 37716, (865) 457-0704) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VAPOR CANISTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,185.
