Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, IT ROLLED DOWN A HILL AND OVER A CURB. AS A RESULT, THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE BODY AND UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO KING FORD (2450 E U.S. HIGHWAY 64 ALT, MURPHY, NC 28906, (828) 837-2121). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST WITH HAVING THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
