TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDALS WERE DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE SHOOK. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO COURTESY FORD LINCOLN (1313 NE 122ND AVE, PORTLAND, OR 97230, 833-281-3456) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION CLUTCH FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 63,003.
