Consumer Description

BACKED VEHICLE OUT OF A DRIVEWAY AND SHIFTED INTO PARK ON CURB. WITHOUT TURNING VEHICLE OFF ATTEMPTED TO SHIFT INTO DRIVE A SHORT TIME LATER AND SHIFTER WAS LOOSE/HAD NO RESISTANCE AND VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR OR MOVE. A TOW TRUCK WAS CALLED TO TOW VEHICLE TO DEALER AND FOUND THAT SHIFTER CABLE END HAD COME OFF OF LINKAGE ON THE TRANSMISSION. CABLE WAS TEMPORARILY REATTACHED AND VEHICLE DRIVEN TO DEALER WHERE CABLE WAS REPLACED TO REMEDY ISSUE.
