TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING HIGH SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL NEEDED TO BE DEPRESSED FORCEFULLY IN ORDER TO GET THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SIMMONS-ROCKWELL FORD (1160 CO RD 66, HORNELL, NY 14843, (607) 324-4444) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIMING BELT WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
