Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. BAKERSFIELD CHRYSLER JEEP FIAT IN BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN INTERMITTENT FAILURE IN WHICH THE FUEL PUMP OVERHEATED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
