Consumer Description

JEEP'S UCONNECT SYSTEM HAS, ON THREE OCCASIONS, NOT RECOGNIZED MY VOICE FOR CALLING AN EXISTING PHONE CONTACT. IN PLACE OF CANCELING, OR ASKING FOR A MANUAL SELECTION ON THE SCREEN, UCONNECT DEFAULTS TO CALLING 9-1-1 EMERGENCY SERVICES. THIS PLACES ME IN AN AWKWARD POSITION, TIES UP ESSENTIAL EMERGENCY SERVICE RESOURCES, AND IS EMBARRASSING. I HAVE EVEN CHANGED THE NAMES IN MY PHONE TO AVOID ANY SORT OF CONFUSION. SINCE SEPTEMBER 2017, THIS HAS OCCURRED THREE TIMES.
