Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD EXPLORER. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL EXHAUST ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (AUTO-NATION FORD IN DEL RAY BEACH) ON FOUR OCCASIONS TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A TSB WARRANTY REPAIR TO REMEDY THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,999.
