TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V352000 (AIR BAGS) MONTHS AGO AND STATED THAT THE DEALER (STETLER DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 1405 ROOSEVELT AVE, YORK, PA 17404, (717) 764-8888) CALLED TO INDICATE THAT THE PART WAS AVAILABLE A DAY BEFORE SCHEDULING A 9 AM APPOINTMENT FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE NEXT DAY, THE CONTACT ARRIVED AT THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC REASON; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT EXPERIENCING A FAILURE.
