Consumer Description

CAR WENT IN FOR ENGINE TEST FOR THE RECALL. ENGINE FAILED THE TEST WHICH SHOULD HAVE MEANT THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER 90 DAYS A HYUNDAI REP CAME TO THE DEALERSHIP AND DETERMINED THAT THE ENGINE DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. IF THE CAR FAILS THE TEST HOW CAN THEY JUST DEEM THAT THEY DON'T NEED TO FIX IT. ALSO CAN I REQUEST THAT THEY SIGN A LETTER OF LIABLE IN THE EVENT OF FUTURE ENGINE ISSUES, SINCE THEY WON'T FIX A GOVERNMENT MANDATED RECALL, HOW WILL I EVER GET THEM TO OWN UP TO ANY OTHER ISSUES THAT ARISE?
