Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOOR AJAR INDICATOR RANDOMLY FLASHED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. THE CONTACT CONSTANTLY HAD TO OPEN AND CLOSE VARIOUS DOORS. THE INTERIOR LIGHTING AND DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR CONTINUED TO FLASH. THE VEHICLE WAS EXCLUDED FROM A MANUFACTURER RECALL TO ADDRESS THE DOOR AJAR FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
