Consumer Description

ON MARCH 15, 2017 OUR 2014 GMC ACADIA SPONTANEOUSLY LOST STEERING POWER ASSIST AS I WAS MAKING A TURN AT AROUND 10 MILES PER HOUR. THE VEHICLE REGAINED POWER ASSIST 15 TO 20 SECONDS LATER. FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL MILES, IT APPEARED TO LOSE THE POWER ASSIST ONLY WHEN AT LOW IDLE AND OTHERWISE DROVE FINE. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON-LINE AND THIS PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE SOMEWHAT COMMON FOR THIS MAKE AND YEAR BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY RECALLS FOR IT.
