Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, A HISSING NOISE WAS DETECTED AND THE ENGINE STALLED. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO SMELLED A HORRIBLE ODOR INSIDE THE VEHICLE WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER FUELING THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 49,000.
