Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY REVVED AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A JEEP AND DAMAGED THREE OTHER VEHICLE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,300.
