Consumer Description

2005 DODGE 1500. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE ACCIDENT- THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS CRASHED INTO A TELEPHONE POLE. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE MANUFACTURER'S REPORT STATED THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY DUE TO "CRUMPLE" ZONES AND "CRASH" AREAS NOT BEING IMPACTED. THE RATE OF DECELERATION WAS NECESSARY WAS NOT MET IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE AIR BAG. UPDATED 03/31/2017*JS UPDATED 04/04/17LJ
