Consumer Description

MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0T STARTED KNOCKING ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK. AS I WAS DRIVING THE KNOCKING NOISE GOT WORSER. SO I PULLED OVER AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN. I GOT IT TOWED, NONE F THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON. ENGINE SIEZED. I SEE THAT THERE ARE RECALLS FOR THE 2011 AND 2012 SONATA'S AND MY 2013 DID THE SAME THING AS THE 2011 AND 2012 SONATA ARE DOING. I REALLY BELIEVE MY 2.0T HAD A ENGINE DEFECT. THEY TOOK OFF THE OIL PAN ANS SAW IT WAS SIEZED AND ITS THE SAME REASON THEY RECALL THE 2011 AND 2012 SONATA. THEY NEED TO CHECK TO SEE 2013 ENGINE HAVE THAT PROBLEM AS WELL.
