TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AJAR WARNING LAMP LIGHT STAYED LIT WHEN THE DOOR WAS CLOSED INDICATING A MALFUNCTION OR FAILURE. THE FAILURE WAS CAUSING THE INTERNAL DOME LIGHT TO REMAIN ILLUMINATED EACH TIME THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TO BE TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER TO INSPECT AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,000. PAM
