Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR DID NOT LOCK AND THE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED DAILY. THE CONTACT HAD TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOOR NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE IT FINALLY LOCKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LOCK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
