The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the door ajar message was displayed. The contact stated that the front and rear driver’s side doors were unsecured. During the failure, the car alarm activated, and the interior dome light remained illuminated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 88,000.
