TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD JERK VIOLENTLY. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD DECELERATE ON ITS OWN AND FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE DEALER RE-INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE, TRANSMISSION SENSOR, AND SHIFT CONTROL CABLE, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,652.
