TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING THE VEHICLE INSPECTED UNDER A MANUFACTURE'S RECALL PERTAINING TO THE CROSSBAR, HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE FRONT SUB FRAME WAS DEFECTIVE AND WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 188,000.
