Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER ENTERING THE VEHICLE, THE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000.UPADATED 04/29/14 MA THE CONSUMER STATED THE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION, THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD STAY ON AT NIGHT AND OCCASIONALLY AFTER THE KEY IS REMOVED, LASTLY, AFTER A STOP WARNING LIGHTS WOULD FLASH AND A DISTRACTING DINGING SOUND WOULD START WHILE DRIVING.
