Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE BATTERY WAS JUMP-STARTED AND THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO START THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE A NEW BATTERY AND SOFTWARE WAS INSTALLED. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED OR DIAGNOSED FOR THE MOST RECENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,718.
