Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH THE ELECTRONIC ALL WHEEL DRIVE SHIFTED FROM TWO WHEELS TO FOUR WHEEL DRIVE INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TWO FRONT TIRES LOCKED UP WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THIS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SLIDE TO A STOP. AS A RESULT OF THE FAILURE, THE DRIVE TRAIN SPLIT IN HALF. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
