2000 FORD WINDSTAR SE 98,020 MILEAGE ORIGINAL OWNER ONE DRIVER I NOTICE SHARP, LOUD SOUNDS WHEN BREAKING IN REVERSE AND WHEN RIDING ACROSS ROUGHER STREET AND HIGHWAY PAVEMENTS. I INSPECTED UNDERNEATH CAR AND FOUND A CRACKED REAR AXLE, LEFT OF CENTER (ON DRIVERS SIDE). CRACK IS HALF WAY THROUGH AXLE , COMPLETELY CRACKED THROUGH FROM BOTTOM TO TOP, AND IS ON REAR FACING SIDE OF AXLE. I DON'T RECALL AN EVENT WHICH COULD HAVE CAUSED A CRACK. *TR
