2007 VOLVO S80 Visibility Problems

The contact owns a 2007 Volvo S80. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle during a rainstorm; rainwater leaked into the vehicle from the top section of the driver's side of the windshield, creating a visibility hazard for the driver. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The local dealer was not contacted regarding the failure. The failure mileage was 150,000.

THE CAR WAS PURCHASED ON MARCH 1, 2012. SHORTLY AFTER THE PURCHASE OF THE CAR THE WIPER BLADES MALFUNCTIONED. THEY DID NOT WORK PROPERLY AND WE HAD TO PULL OFF TO SIDE OF THE ROAD ON THE HIGHWAY WITH OUR CHILDREN IN THE CAR. THEY WOULD NOT SHUT OFF EVEN AFTER WE PULLED THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. IT WAS A HUGE VISIBILITY HAZARD. WE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP US, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STILL WITHIN OUR 30 DAY WARRANTY PERIOD. EVERY TIME WE OPERATED THE VEHICLE THE WIPERS WOULD TURN ON EVEN WHEN WE TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. WE CALLED THE TWO VOLVO DEALERSHIPS IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AND WERE TOLD WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS. WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE MERCEDES DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED AND THEY TOLD US TO TAKE...
