2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA Unknown Or Other Problems

Car was great for first 100000 miles. Then it was not. While driving in heavy traffic on a three lane highway, car lost power, ability to accelerate and went into limp mode. EPC code went on. Very dangerous. Took it to several mechanics, VW dealerships, could find nothing wrong. Issue has happened over 100x since, but I am unable to afford another vehicle and pray over car continually to keep me and others on road safe. Few times car would suddenly shudder like engine was quitting. Canceled medical trip to city when this happened 50 miles from home. Have had to cancel work as well one day when this happened. Key Ignition malfunction

When driving the car, it will randomly stall, lose power or not accelerate. Sometimes the EPC light and oil light will illuminate other times it gives no warning. It shut off on the interstate while going 72mph. I have taken it to the dealership since a month after I got it and they keep telling me nothing is wrong with it. I have to get oil changes every month despite not driving it much and the gas consumption is 3tines what it should be. I’m having to fill the tank up three times a week despite going to and from work which is 9 miles from my home. I have taken it to the dealership and had to pay $1000s of dollars only for it to start having the same issues within a week

Even after having the fuel system replaced due to recall, I’m still smelling gas inside of my car. My EPC light and Check Engine light keep coming on and don’t always stay on but when it comes on, while driving… my car will tell me to downshift and then there is no throttle, you can mash the gas pedal to the floor and only dash lights. It has also skipped the downshift indicator and just cut completely off while driving.

We purchased the car in May 2021, within a week, the check engine light, EPC and oil lamp became illuminated. Contacted dealership who "inspected" it and said "nothing was wrong and reset the lights." A few weeks go by and the same thing. We noticed the car was "stuttering" during acceleration. We attempted to bring it to the dealership they couldn't inspect our vehicle because they didn't have "availability". At 52,000 miles check engine light came on , car would not go over 50mph, EPC light came on , lights went out. After having car towed to the dealer, had to have EPC ,Turbocharger Boost rod / actuator replaced .

Key gets stuck in ignition when turning off the engine

My car has started not letting me remove my key from the ignition i cannot turn off my car! I have seen mulitple complaints about this issue with these cars and i dont understand why theres not a recall for it I will have to pay $900 to get a new ignition switch and ignition lock for something that is a known issue!! I should not have to pay that when all these complaints have been made for the same issue

I had hit snd run By this car. KEY GETS STUCK IN THE CAR IGNITION, MAKING IT EXTREMELY HARD TO GET KEY OUT FROM CAR

CAR MAKES A JOLTING/THRUSTING MOVE (DOWNSHIFTS) BETWEEN 20 AND 40 MPH. SEEMS LIKE TRANSMISSION SHIFTING SENSORS ARE ACTIVATED OR RELEASING AT THESE MPH.

REAR VIEW CAMERA DOESN'T WORK ALL THE TIME SHOW ERROR ON THE SCREEN ' PARKPILOT IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE' I CAN'T USE THE CAMERA ON REVERSE THE REASON TO BOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE HAD A REAR CAMERA!!

KEY IS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH AFTER TURNING OFF THE CAR. CAR HAS 21,033 MILES AND DEALERSHIP FOUND IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER AND HOUSING FAILURE ON VEHICLE AND ADVISED REPLACING BOTH. DECLINED REPAIR AND WAS LATER CONTACTED WITH AN OFFER TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR FOR 50% OF THE ORIGINAL QUOTE. REPAIR HAS STILL NOT BEEN MADE WHILE I GET SMART ABOUT THIS.

THIS IS AN IGNITION PROBLEM. WHILE BEING PARKED HAVING TROUBLE TURNING OFF ENGINE, KEY GETS STUCK IN IGNITION, STEERING WHEEL IS NOT LOCKED. SPARE KEY DOES THE SAME THING. THE SAFETY MECHANISM THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM TURNING THE KEYS FURTHER WHEN CAR IS ALREADY ON IS NO LONGER SHUTTING THE CAR OFF.

THE KEY GETS STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND THE CAR CANNOT BE TURNED OFF.

THE JETTA WHEN TRAVELING ABOUT 40 MILES PER HOUR WAS HIT BY A CHRYSLER 300 TOURING GOING ABOUT 20 MILES PER HOUR NEAR THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT TIRE WITH THE GRILL OF THE CAR. THIS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ROLL ONTO THE TOP OF THE CAR. A CAR THIS LOW TO THE GROUND AND SIZE SHOULD HAVE CAUSED IT TO SPIN NOT ROLL OVER. THIS HAPPENED ON A DRY CITY STREET JETTA WAS GOING STRAIGHT.VEHICLE WAS IN GOOD REPAIR

VEHICLE PAUSES FOR A DANGEROUS NUMBER OF SECONDS WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE ESPECIALLY WHEN CROSSING A VERY BUSY STREET INTERSECTION OR HIGHWAY. IT HAPPENS WHILE MOVING AT ANY TIME. IS UNPREDICTABLE.

THE IGNITION WHEN AUTOMOBILE IS IN PARK YOU CAN'T TURN OFF ENGINE . THIS HAS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK

I BELIEVE MY CAR IS A FLOOD-CAR THAT HAS BEEN VERY WELL CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT, AND CLEANED SO WELL THAT THE TITLE GOT A GOOD WASH, KNOWN IN THE INDUSTRY AS TITLE-WASHING. I BOUGHT THIS CAR BECAUSE IT CARRIED A GUARANTEE MAKING IT A CERTIFIED USED CAR. A CAR THAT CARRIES A CERTIFIED USED TITLE OF CONDITION THEN ONE WOULD EXPECT NOTHING LESS THAN PERFECTION. I AM A VW FAN AND I AM HAVING SERIOUS ISSUES WITH REGARDS TO MY VW JETTA 2016 1.4. EVER SINCE MY 1ST SERVICE I ADVISED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT MY BREAKS ARE MAKING A NOISE AND EVERY TIME THEY SAY IT WAS FINE.
