2023 VINFAST VF 8 Engine Problems

Vehicle drive system fault: This issue has happened to me 2x in my personal car and 1x in the loaner vehicle that Vinfast gave me. When this happens, the vehicle shuts off. You can’t put the car in drive or reverse. You have to leave the car, wherever it is, walk a good distance away& wait for about 15mins. The first time, I was pulling into a spot at a grocery store & and car died in the middle of the aisle. I was blocking all traffic. Luckily after 4 mins the car was able to go into N and I got pushed into a parking spot. The second time was with the loaner car, I started to back up and the car died. This time, I had to walk in the rain to a store down the street and wait for the car to “disconnect from the key fob”...

Driving 80+ car suddenly loses power . Says electrical system fault and coolant fault. Stranded on freeway in fast lane. Takes 9 resets and 1hr before car goes back to nirmal

I was driving on the highway 87 California from the south to the north. After I changed to the furthest left lane and stay within the lane completely. I started to turn on ADAS system, as I was adjusting the desired speed, I felt the car was speeding up too much to reach my speed set up, so I decided to step on the brake to slow down the car. Right when I step on the brake, I heard a loud noise from the car, which I strongly believe the car was experiencing the conflicting command within its software. On one hand, the car ADAS want to speed up to the desire speed, on the other hand, the brake was engaged by me so it need to stop. That conflicts result my car shifted to Neutral on the highway, which I was able to drive it to the emergency lane...
