I pulled onto a main road through a busy intersection and shifted through the gears under normal load. Upon shifting from 4th into 5th gear one of the C clips failed causing devastating damage to the transmission gears. The bike jerked and locked up for a moment but I was able to keep it under control and slow down to a stop. There was no warning or symptoms up to this point. My safety and the safety of others were put at risk with this failure. I was fortunate enough to keep control of the bike to slow down. You can tell it is a c clip issue because after the failure, tilting the bike to the right results in a clacking sound of the gears smacking each other. I am a part of a large Victory online community and there are so many people having the same issue. Total...
