TOOK MY 1992 TOYOTA SHORT BOX PICKUP IN FOR A BRAKE JOB. BOTH FRAME MEMBERS HALF WAY BETWEEN THE FRONT AND REAR TIRES WERE RUSTED SO BAD THAT ONE COULD PUT ONES ARM ALL THE WAY THRU. THE TRUCK HAS A GOOD ENGINE AND TIRES, BUT NOW IS JUST A DANGEROUS PIECE OF JUNK. NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO FIX IT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1992 TOYOTA PICKUP. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS CHANGING THE REAR TIRES ON THE VEHICLE, HE WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE REAR OF THE FRAME NEAR THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE WHEEL WELL. A COUPLE OF MONTHS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, THE CONTACT DROVE OVER A BUMP AND HEARD A LOUD SUSPENSION BREAKING SOUND COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 300,000.
BROUGHT MY 92 TOYOTA PICKUP TRUCK IN TO HAVE A BELT CHANGED. THE GUYS AT THE SHOP PUT THE TRUCK ON THE LIFT AND THE TRUCK JUST FOLDED. THE FRAME IS COMPLETELY ROTTED YOU CAN STICK YOUR HAND RIGHT THROUGH IT. CURRENTLY THE RECALL ON FRAME ROT DOES NOT COVER MY YEAR. *TR
