I HAVE A 1992 TOYOTA TRUCK [XXX] WITH 265000 MILES. ON OCT.27 WHILE DRIVING MY CENTER LINK BROKE AT THE PITMAN THIS CAUSED ME TO NOT HAVE ANY STEERING CONTROL. SINCE I WAS NOT GOING AT A EXCESSIVE SPEED I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE SAFELY BUT JUST BARELY I WAS TRYING TO TURN RIGHT AT A INTERSECTION MY TRUCK WENT STRAIGHT THROUGH THE RED LIGHT ALMOST BROADSIDING A TRUCK. DUE TO THIS I FEEL IT IS IMPORTANT TO REPORT THERE IS TO NO TELLING HOW MANY ACCIDENTS HAVE HAPPENED AND THE CAUSE WAS DESTROYED IN THE RUBBLE OR THE PERSONS INVOLVED WERE KILLED. THE CENTER LINK HAD A CRACK IN IT I DON'T KNOW WHEN OR HOW IT OCCURRED. I BROUGHT THE PART TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP IN ASHEVILLE NC BUT THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT IT. BASICALLY IT IS OLD AND OUT OF WARRANTY IT'S NOT OUR...
